Welcome to the Dalesbred website, a name synonymous with quality
bespoke furniture and upholstery produced at the old smithy workshops,
on the village green, Austwick. The name Dalesbred is derived
from a breed of hardy sheep, common within the Yorkshire Dales
and all our furniture is inlaid with the Dalesbred rams head,
cut from contrasting hardwoods.
Each piece is individually made to your exact design and measurements
whether it’s a kitchen, dining
table, dresser, settee
or comfy arm chair. Although a lot
of our designs are influenced by the Arts and crafts movement,
we are bespoke cabinet makers and upholsterers and can produce
furniture in any style, timber or finish and stock a vast range
of fabrics.
